In wakeskate, Helium pro rider Steve Campbell took 1st. In Wakeboard, Helium pro rider Tom Fooshee dominated and took 1st. 4.11.08 – Helium Rider John Rodriguez takes first in the Mens I Finals at Board Up Miami in Florida Final results from Friday's Mens I Finals at Board Up Miami show John Rodriguez on top. Thats a pretty cool thing. Well Josh Sanders stepped it up a level with Ocean and Earth's latest marketing campaign in Canada. Josh Sanders is truely larger than life, having an image of him wake boarding, plastered across a billboard. The ironic thing is the billboards placement, a top a building in a snowy main street somewhere in Canada. Having this type of publicity is amazing for Sanders, but even more amazing for our sport. To see a company push an athlete and our sport in such a way as to gain main stream exposure is incredible and exactly what the sport of wake boarding needs. This type of publicity is usually reserved for the likes of Hollywood movie stars and Milan models promoting their latest Guicci fragrance. Congrats to Ocean and Earth and Josh Sanders, hopefully we see more of the wake boarding brands supporting the sport in this manner in the near future. On another note Josh and Katy Sanders recently had a son. Jet Clark Sanders, was born on Valentines Day, 14th February 2008, at 4am. Jet was a healthy 9 pounds 4 and measure 57cm. "Jet has already traveled to Melbourne and been on his first flight.
